Pay Grade: £30,000 – £32,000
Status: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (36 hours)
Location: Movetech UK’s Head Office in Bolton (BL3 5BW)
Responsible to: Technical Director
Purpose of the job: To Project Manage technical engineering projects and management of servicing contracts.

As a Project Engineer / Service Coordinator you will be joining a small and specialised technical team in a company where quality and customer service is of the highest strategic importance to the business. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of technical engineering projects from the point of Sales handover to delivery and commissioning. And the day-to-day management of service / maintenance contracts including Planned Preventative Maintenance and any follow up work.

Skills

Essential:

  • Experience in an engineering background.
  • A good standard of literacy is required to ensure professional written communications can be produced.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • A good standard of numeracy is required to ensure accuracy of quotation.
  • Strong planning and forecasting skills.
  • Good organisational skills. Ability to priorities. Ability to learn.
  • Excellent customer service skills and polite telephone manner.
  • A levels (NVQ level 3) or equivalent.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, well organised, and able to prioritise. Able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Experience of using a PC with windows Operating system. Experience of using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, & Outlook.

Desirable:

  • A formal and relevant engineering qualification.
  • A formal and relevant literacy qualification.
  • CSCS Card.
  • IOSH / NEBOSH.
  • SMSTS / SSSTS.
  • CDM Experience.
  • Demonstrable skills in CAD/3D modelling.
  • An understanding of process/machine control to enable writing of technical specifications.
