Movetech UK has been accredited to the new ISO 9001:2008 quality standard, less than a month after it was introduced, and is therefore one of the first companies in the UK to make the grade.

Quality Manager, Phil Childs, is naturally delighted with the news. “It was just our luck that our regular assessment should be scheduled to take place so soon after the new standard came into force,” he says, “but, as it happened, we sailed through with flying colours. In many instances, in fact, our quality procedures exceed those expected in ISO 9001.”

Companies applying for or undergoing re-assessment to ISO 9001 have up to two years to meet the 2008 standard. Movetech UK is justifiably proud, therefore, of the company’s achievement.
